Surprise!

What a whirlwind the last four months have been. We have big news and thought it was time to share.

We are PREGNANT!

We are beyond excited and couldn't be more thankful for this sweet blessing that is about to join our lives.

This pregnancy has been far from easy, and honestly the hardest thing I've ever been through to say the least! I have Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is basically extreme morning sickness that causes severe dehydration and can cause some other complications during pregnancy. I have had to get fluids three times a week and been extremely nauseated all day, everyday. I have thrown up more times than I can even keep count of. I've passed out at the hospital,  my blood pressure has tanked causing me to be exhausted and truly I don't know how anyone else has survived this! I feel for anyone who has experienced this and think the world of you if you're reading this!

Although it has been terrible and I complain a lot, I can't stand the thought of any real food, and my faith us been tested to the max, I am thankful for the empathy this has caused me to have for sick people. I know that because of this trial I'll be such a better mother, and I'll be able to someday help people that are going through this.

A huge thank you to all the help I've got from family and friends. From thoughtful flowers to stopping in to clean my house, this has been the most humbling experience to se how many people truly care for me. All the prayers in my behalf are so appreciated! I'm so blessed and can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for this challenge to show me the things in life that matter. I've learned to enjoy the small simple moments when I feel good, and I appreciate my health so much more.

I am starting to show a little bump so if you see me out and about I didn't eat too many hamburgers, I have a baby in there. :)

We really are beyond excited for this new adventure and can't wait for the future.

Bump-date!

How far along are you? 15 weeks!

When are you due? November 24, Thanksgiving!

What are you craving? Pepsi. Other than that NOTHING ever sounds good. It sucks because I'm such a foodie and it's all I can do to take a couple bites of food.

Weight gain? More like weight loss! I am currently down 25 lbs, and don't say that I'm lucky, because I'd rather weigh 800 pounds and feel good than getting down to my high school weight.

Do any smells drive you crazy? Yes! So many! I can't even open my fridge because the food smell just kills me and Collin can't even smell a thing. Ha!

Felt the baby move yet? Nope not yet! I hope soon!!

Trouble sleeping? Yes I am tossing and turning most of the night trying to get comfortable!

Any guess on the gender? I am 90% sure it's a girl! I don't know why, but I am convinced.

Will you find out the gender? I want to, Collin doesn't. I am sure we will find out at 20 weeks! I usually get my way ;)
