Roberts Update

Hello everyone!

As of recently I'm finally starting to feel like a normal human being again so I thought I'd do a little update of what we have been up to.

The last 15 weeks I have been so dang sick that we have hardly done anything at all! Collin has been eating dinner with his parents almost every night because I've been too sick to have smells in the house. Thanks to my sweet mother in law for always feeding him. THANKFULLY I am starting to feel SO much better and I've been able to cook again this week! I've missed being able to do normal things like this.

Poor Collin has been such a champ at taking care of me. Getting up in the night to get me meds or water, running me to my IV therapy, or just listening to me cry (literally) about how crappy I feel. I really lucked out in the husband department and couldn't be more thankful for him.

I am officially halfway done with my pregnancy and it's blowing my mind! I can't believe that in just 20 weeks our sweet little boy will be joining our family. Collin and I have the conversation weekly that our life is about to change. He said it perfectly when he said we can no longer be selfish, and not just for a while but forever! From here on out our kids will always come first and that's hard to wrap your mind around. We are so excited though!

As far as work goes, I have only been able to stay working two days a week. I wish I could do more, but between my IV therapy and feeling like crap two has just been the right amount. It's been nice to be home a little more to keep up on housework too.

Collin has stayed busy on the farm. This year they don't have a ton of hay planted so they aren't crazy busy yet, but they are in the middle of chopping second crop and staying busy. I've been going to ride with him when I've felt up to it. I usually don't last very long because it's so HOT and BUMPY!

We have had some campfires with some friends, but other than that we have basically stayed home lately! Collin told me the other day that he misses going out to dinner so maybe this weekend I'll brave restaurants! :/

Other than that all is well here at the Roberts residence! I'll give ya a little pregnancy update below!

Bumpdate--20 Weeks

Are you craving anything? No. Not necessarily. Yesterday was one of the first times that food was actually good and I wanted more of it. So I'm thankful to be getting my appetite back!

Any food aversions? Beef basically. I am not usually a fan of it to begin with, but now I avoid it at all costs.

Weight gain? I have finally gained back 5 pounds of the 28 that I lost! Hallehlujah!

Favorite moment so far? Definitely feeling the baby kick! Col got to feel him in there and he was amazed. Human bodies are amazing I've decided! Like seriously, I'm growing a baby boy?! It still blows my mind. When he moves it does make me feel nauseas which is weird, but I still like it!

Baby bump yet? A tiny one haha. I still just look like I ate a little too much. But it's definitely starting to be uncomfortable in normal pants. If I'm sitting down, chances are I've undone the button and zipper.

What are you looking forward to?
Getting his nursery set up. We have some things, but it's not all put together yet.

Any other symptoms? Heartburn. Major heartburn. Thankfully I really like the taste of tums. They have been my recent new best friend.
I'm also having some pretty insane dreams. Mostly nightmares.

Do you have a name? Yes! We are official on our name. So let's hope he stays a boy! :)
