We are moving to an old milk barn the first of may, and we cannot wait! I laugh to myself because if we stay there until we have kids we can tell our kids that they were raised in a barn!
It sounds way sketchy, I know, but it's way better than it sounds I promise! I'll post pictures when we get all settled in, but for now I'll let your imaginations scare you ;)
No but seriously all jokes aside, we couldn't be more blessed to have this house become available to us at such a perfect timing. We were excited when the option became available and we were able to have a house in our same ward.
The house is smaller than our apartment now, which is kind of scary, but honestly I feel like less is more. I'm tired of having boxes of stuff in our spare bedrooms. I have gotten rid of so much crap that we have accumulated just from being in this apartment for a year. I am changing all my decorations for our new house though, and the excitement is killing me! I have already taken everything off my walls here, and started lots of projects for the new place.
There were two weeks in March that I barely touched my homework. Soo not a good thing. I'm already struggling with the idea of staying in school right now. I'm so ready to be D O N E. I will finish it out til the end.. But let's get one thing clear.. I'm so ready to be done with homework deadlines and traveling to take tests! The day can't come soon enough. But really though, who else is struggling with the idea of forking out thousands of dollars a year for school? I refuse to take out a student loan, and I hate not working as much and taking a pay cut, but this semester has taught me that I can't do it all. I am going to have to choose next semester.. Work a lot and little school? Or little school and work a lot. Time will tell what's best for me.
Farm work is starting to pick up and get busier. As the weeks go by the time that Collin gets home will slowly get later and later. I can't wait for summertime! But dread seeing him less.
I posted a picture on Instagram a couple weeks ago about going to the dermatologist and what not. Girls if you are tanning. Stop! I have always been good about going to the dermatologist since I was younger and having my moles checked, but I've had some start changing. And since I used to tan a lot in high school I, along with my dermatologist, was worried about them. Long story short they took some off and biopsied them only to find out they are pre-cancerous. So now I have to go back in and let them cut out the tissue around where the moles were and then they'll stitch me up. Yuck. Who wants two ugly scars on their stomach? Not me! But I'd surely rather be safe than sorry. Quit tanning and go to the dermatologist if you have any moles changing or itching. End of rant. :)
Anyways, life is good. We are great! Busy as always and blessed as ever. Until next time!
Did I mention my husband has a mullet?
